As you know your wedding day is the most important time in your life and most probably the most stressful.
There are many aspects of getting your perfect wedding. From choosing the right wedding cake, the perfect dress, the correct venue, and of course choosing the correct entertainment.
We at Funky Disco Entertainment are not the cheapest nor the most expensive disco around.
When people are looking for discos for their wedding they tend to look for the cheapest. This is because it’s the last thing they find on their ‘to do list’ and the budget has been spent. Priorities seem to be with spending lots of money on wedding cakes, chocolate fountains, flowers etc. However, the disco show needs to look great for your evening’s entertainment – and Funky Disco Entertainment can guarantee to give you a great night’s entertainment.
- We provide you with 20,000 songs using a laptop play out system so we can play requests at a touch of a button. Along with CD decks and thousands of songs on CD for back up.

Many things we take into consideration when booking your wedding is knowing as much about your wedding as possible to make things run smoothly for yourselves, but also for us to have an understanding of the schedule throughout the day and night.
This is why we provide you with a Wedding Planner. We have made it very simple but effected for both of us.
What is in the Wedding planner?
It consists of many parts of the wedding day for example;
- The best mans name in case we need to speak to someone and would not want to bother you on your special day.
- Time of cutting cake
- Time of first dance
- First dance song
- Second dance song if applicable
- Time of buffet.
- Early set up required? Please inform this when enquiring see below.
- Plus more.
I can send these to you via email if you would like to see them before booking.
As you can see we like to be ready and prepared for your special day.
Our unique service offers you the following;
- We have a database of over 20,000 songs ranging from 60’s to present day.
- At most weddings it’s normally a mixture of music to suit all ages, but we cater for what you want us to play or leave it up to the DJ to read the crowd and judge the music.
- Playlists are more than welcome from yourselves if you would like to make one or even if you just choose 20 songs you would like played or even not played (this is also part of the wedding planner).
- We are very open to requests as I’m sure your guests and yourselves will have songs you would like to hear.
- If you do have a playlist please send it to me a couple of weeks prior to the wedding day.
- We will do our best to have every song on your play list, but if there are some obscure songs we can not get hold of you may have to bring a CD with you.
- We are 100% reliable
- Punctual - We tend to get to venues earlier than needed to avoid traffic or any other disruption.
- All bookings are confirmed in writing.
Bookings
If you require a quote for your wedding please call or email me with the following information.
- Date of event
- Venue
- Start/finish times
- Early set up required - what I mean by this is sometimes the meal and disco are in the same room and you would not want me to be setting up while people are still eating. So I would need to come and set up prior to your reception and return for the evenings disco.
- All day set up required - This is for us to come set up prior to your reception and on your return for your main meal you will require me to play background music until the main part of the disco starts.
- Disco Only- We will just turn up and be set up for start of disco after your meals etc.
